Delete journal account & data
This deletes your Kayak Fishing Journal service account and its saved data. It does not delete your ChatGPT account.
Your trips, profile, public reports, stored photos and identifiable research source records will be removed. Non-identifiable collective summaries are retained permanently so future anglers can learn from them. Contact/feedback records matching your signed-in email are removed too. Deleting a single trip is different: its previous research contribution is retained.
Export anything you need first. Old offline queues will be blocked from restoring the deleted account. Copies on other devices may remain until they reconnect; clear their site data after exporting anything needed. Minimal closure hashes are retained to prevent stale uploads. See retention details.
